Invitation to round table "Private Sector Engagement to Support Labour Market Integration of Refugees"

The mission of the International Organization for Migration (IOM) in Slovenia has been with the support of the Council of Europe Development Bank – Migrant and Refugee Fund facilitating the access of refugees to the labour market in Slovenia and supporting their swift inclusion in safe and decent employments. Upon the closure of the project in April 2017, IOM is kindly inviting you to attend the final event which will present the results and achievements of the activities implemented in the framework of the project since December 2015, as well as discuss the role and importance of private sector engagement and further steps to be taken in partnership with employers.

Representatives of the IOM Regional Office in Brussels, the Employment Service of Slovenia, TVcN Tolk- en Vertaalcentrum from the Netherlands, the German Confederation of Skilled Crafts, the Counselling Office for Workers from Slovenia and an aslyum seeker will share their experiences and good practises with regard to the successful long-term inclusion of refugees in the labour market in cooperation with the private sector. 

The event will take place on Wednesday, 19 April 2017 between 9:00 and 12:00 in the Grand Hotel Union Business, Miklošičeva 3, Ljubljana, Slovenia.
