Invitation to regional conference on child protection
The International Organisation for Migration (IOM) is kindly inviting you to the regional conference
Protecting Children in the Context of the Refugee and Migrant Crisis in Europe,
taking place on Wednesday, 13 September 2017 in the Austria Trend Hotel, Dunajska cesta 154, 1000 Ljubljana, Slovenia.
The conference is implemented in the framework of the regional project supported by the European Commission's Directorate-General for Justice and Consumers and managed by the IOM, which aims at improving the protection of migrant children in the Member States of the European Union experiencing an increased inflow of migrants and asylum seekers during the period 2015 – 2017, including particularly vulnerable unaccompanied and separated children.
The event will bring together child protection experts, immigration authorities, grant partners and relevant civil society organizations from Austria, Bulgaria, Croatia, Greece, Hungary, Italy and Slovenia to foster exchanges and harmonization of approaches and services.
